Heartbreak for Christian author Ann Voskamp’s family as son’s historic home destroyed by fire
Bestselling Christian author Ann Voskamp's family is grappling with a heartbreaking loss after her son's 152-year-old stone house in Ontario was destroyed by fire last week.
On March 11, after four years of hard work and renovations, Levi and Aurora Voskamp's house of dreams was consumed by fire.
"We dreamed of restoration and revival. And then slowly, over the next four years, we saw those dreams weaving into reality," said the couple in a post on Instagram.

Roy Kornelsen, 88, of Winnipeg formerly of Rosenort, passed away Friday, March 14th at Vista Park Lodge. He is survived by his wife Elma, 1 son, 4 sisters, 1 brother and their families. He was predeceased by 2 sisters.
The funeral service for Roy Kornelsen will be held Friday, March 21st at 2pm at Rosenort Fellowship Chapel with burial at Rosenort EMC Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the church prior to the service.

A memorial service for Jack Rettaler will be held Friday, March 21st at 2pm at Greenridge United Church with ash interment at Dominion City Cemetery at a later date.

'He believed in us': Worship leader Yancy mourns the loss of former manager
Renowned worship leader Yancy Wideman Richmond is mourning the loss of her former manager.
On Monday she announced that Mike Smith died over the weekend.
"Yesterday, my former manager went to Heaven," said Yancy in a post on Instagram. "I’m grateful he is healed and whole."
When Yancy was considering hiring him, she called Darren Tyler, lead pastor of Conduit Chruch in Franklin, Tennessee for his opinion. He said "Mike is good at weird things. It would make a lot of sense."

Winnipeg man facing drug charges after $25K cocaine bust in Varsity View
A 31-year-old Winnipeg man is facing drug charges after thousands of dollars worth of cocaine was found in a Varsity View apartment complex.
The Winnipeg Police Service received information in March that a man was trafficking illicit drugs from his residence.
Last week, on March 12, officers executed a search warrant on a suite of an apartment complex in the 100 block of Hendon Avenue.
One person was arrested without incident and found to be carrying 46 grams of cocaine, worth an estimated $4,600 during his arrest.
