Missing 17-year-old Selkirk girl safely located

Selkirk RCMP say a missing 17-year-old girl has been safely located.

The youth was last seen during the morning on Feb. 28 at a home in West St. Paul.

RCMP sent out a release last Wednesday asking for help in locating the missing girl. 

On Friday morning, RCMP sent out a release saying the teen had been found. 

The RCMP thanked the public for their assistance.

Gamer with 24 million followers praises the name of Jesus online

The gamer Tyler Blevins, who goes by the online name 'Ninja' recently shared his faith in Jesus with millions of his followers and subscribers. 

Blevins is a video game streamer on a platform called Twitch, on which he has 19 million followers. On his YouTube channel, he has a total of 24 million subscribers. 

"Yes, dude, Jesus is King," said Blevins during a recent live stream. "I mean, and if — even if you don’t think He is — don’t judge me for it, and I won’t judge you for it, man. I do, I just feel it’s so crazy, man."

Carole Vivier, champion of Manitoba’s arts scene, dies at 73

Manitoba's film and music industry is mourning the loss of an icon in the community. 

Carole Vivier, the former CEO and film commissioner for Manitoba Film and Music, passed away on Tuesday after a battle with lung cancer. 

Viver began working with MFM in 1985. She later became the agency's CEO and film commissioner for 26 years from 1993 to 2019. 

Tim Tebow and wife announce gender of soon to be born first child in special video

Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh recently announced the gender of their soon-to-be first born.

The pair started off asking each other what their thoughts were.

"I thought it was a girl this whole time," said Demi-Leigh. "But, I'd be happy either way." 

Demi then asked Tim what he thought, and he also answered, saying he thought their first child was a girl. 

To create a meaningful piece of art for the nursery, the couple decided to find out the gender through painting.

Christian artist Tauren Wells has recently announced that he's releasing his first book, Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus’s Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life.

"I feel like I've been holding my breath waiting to tell you all about this," says Wells on social media. "I've written my first book, and it's available for pre-order."

Wells shared that the foreword was written by the well-known pastor of Elevation Church, Steven Furtick and is also endorsed by basketball legend Steph Curry, pastor Joel Osteen and evangelist Michael Todd.

Trump, tariffs overtake inflation as top concern for Canadians in new poll

A new poll suggests the trade war with the United States is now the biggest source of political anxiety for Canadians, knocking inflation out of the top spot.

Leger's new poll, released Wednesday, says that 28 per cent of Canadians believe dealing with President Donald Trump's tariffs and U.S. aggression is the most important challenge facing Canada today.

The cost of living dropped to second place in the latest polling; 21 per cent of Canadians ranked it at their top concern, followed by health care and housing affordability.

As I observe Psalm 8, three introductory observations leap off the page. First, it is a psalm of David, written under the Holy Spirit's direction. These are not merely the idle reflections of a creative artist. He was given this song as a gift from God to humanity. These are the words of God.
