Since the day that Canadian artist, Brother Blooms was born, music has always been a part of his life. Now he uses it to point others to God. 

Whether it was the music on the radio or what his mom would sing to him or the songs that his brother would write, music was a constant. "My mom used to sing to me all the time when I was a baby to put me to sleep and it kind of just grew on me over the years. My older brother was a songwriter and that really intrigued me," he says.

Ron Gross's life was flipped upside down about a year ago when he received devastating news that would change his life moving forward.

"I found out I've got stage four prostate cancer, and I was given five to seven years to live," said Gross. 

He decided he could take that news and sit at home and cry or go out and live his life.

While scrolling through Facebook one day, he came across an invite to the Bondslaves Motorcycle Club Bike Blessing at House of the Risen Son Ministries, a church in the North End.    

Long-awaited Season 4 of The Chosen available to stream this weekend

Fans of The Chosen won't have to wait much longer to watch Season 4 of the popular show. 

The creators announced Wednesday, that the latest season will be available to the public for streaming this weekend.

“The wait is finally over. The response from those who've seen Season 4 in theatres was that this is our best season, so I can't wait to deliver these episodes free and easy to the world,” said Dallas Jenkins, creator, producer, director, and writer of the international hit series The Chosen.

About 60 people gathered at a Winnipeg church late Wednesday afternoon to enjoy a summer BBQ.

Susan Gustafson is the ministry and personnel chair at Crestview United Church. She says it's important to reach beyond the four walls of the church

"We are part of this community. It's important that we open the doors and say, 'We're part of the community, come and join us!'" said Gustafson.

California chaplains ordered not to pray 'in Jesus' name'

A recent order by a Californian city manager forbids fire and police chaplains to pray using the words 'in Jesus name.'

Pastor J.C. Cooper has been volunteering as the police chaplain in Carlsbad, CA, for the past six years. He is the associate pastor at The Mission Church. His father, Denny Cooper, has volunteered and served as chaplain for the fire department for 18 years. 

March for Jesus France sees record attendance of 25,000

This past weekend Christians from all denominations flooded the streets of Paris, near the Eiffel Tower, for the March for Jesus France. 

"We do believe it’s God’s time for this city, nation, this continent and this generation for the greatest revival and harvest in history," says Pastor Jean-Luc Trachsel, who spoke during the event. "So beautiful to see this multitude from so many denominations including non-charismatic people and so many who just got saved being baptized and filled with The Holy Spirit and fire."

High school student reprimanded after talking about Jesus in graduation speech

A Northern Kentucky high school student is being withheld his diploma, after bringing up Jesus during his graduation speech. 

Over the weekend, Micah Price decided to tell his classmates that Jesus Christ was the answer, the way, the truth and life. This upset the school administration.

"I was told I wasn't allowed to bring up Christ in my speech," said Micah Price in a TikTok video. "I did anyways."

Kids with dyslexia and other learning disabilities gain access to audio Bibles

Handheld audio players from MegaVoice can be huge spiritual encouragement to kids, especially if they don’t enjoy reading as much yet.  

Audio Bibles can also bless kids with a variety of special needs. In early May, MegaVoice connected with parents and churches who have special needs children. The event, Make ‘m Smile, comes from the foundation Nathaniel’s Hope; it connects these families to local resources available to them.
