A Kentucky woman is giving all the glory to God after her son made a quick entrance into the world. 

On May 8, at 37 weeks pregnant, Brooke Canady woke up feeling sick. She decided to take the day off work. Shortly after waking she started having strong contractions only five minutes apart. 

After calling her doula for advice, Canady remembers calling her husband to let him know she needed to go to the hospital as soon as possible. 

Christian artist Leanna Crawford released a new single called 'Still Waters (Psalm 23)' which honours her great aunt's incredible faith that had a ripple effect throughout her life.

Crawford's story of coming to Christ involves her late aunt Maurine, of whom she sings in this track. 

Two churches in western Manitoba teamed up to bring a powerful and hope-filled evening to the region.

Together the Shoal Lake Baptist and the Strathclair Baptist Churches hosted the Watoto Children's Choir at the Strathclair Bend Theatre last week, bringing smiles to their audience with the high energy and incredible talent in these young people mostly from Uganda, Africa.

Danny Gokey is preparing to release a new album this summer. 

Sound of Heaven, which features eleven brand new songs, will be Gokey's fifth studio album. 

"The phrase ‘Sound of Heaven,’ and each of the songs on this album, will mean different things to different people in different places of life, and I believe that each of these songs communicate the hopeful messages of heaven in ways that will speak to people – whatever their season of life," Gokey shared.

A film that follows the true story of a Chinese American who becomes a world-renowned eye surgeon and sets out to restore the sight of a blind orphan had a successful opening.

Sight, which launched in 2,000 theatres on May 24, achieved an A CinemaScore and an A+ with audiences under 24. The biopic also came out on top, receiving a 100% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Contemporary Christian Music trio, Consumed by Fire has released a new version of 'Walk With Jesus' with a special guest. 

Brothers Josh, Jordan, and Caleb Ward are teaming up with Cochren & Co. on the new track.

Roughly 350 people including over 200 children were recently rescued after being kidnapped and held as hostages in Nigeria for their Christian faith. 

The radical Islamic group known as Boko Haram has been fighting to overthrow the government since 2009. The group has been terrorizing Christians in the country, which number just over 108 million. 

A young couple who was serving as missionaries for Missions in Haiti Inc. were tragically killed Thursday evening. 

Davy and Natalie Lloyd, who were full-time missionaries in Haiti, were attacked by a Haitian gang and both killed. 

A longtime firefighter from Grunthal will soon take over the role of chaplain for the Hanover Fire Department. 

At Wednesday's Hanover Council meeting, councillors voted in favour of creating this new position. Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says this is something they have been exploring for the past year. He notes the Hanover Fire Department has 75 members and their chaplain will look after the needs of firefighters and their families.

The Tim Tebow Foundation, alongside other authorities, has arrested 27 people involved in child sexual exploitation in Florida. 

"These men, arrested during a sting called, 'Operation Valiant Knight,' are accused of using the internet to sexually exploit children," says the Tim Tebow Foundation on Instagram. "In partnership with Operation Light Shine and the INTERCEPT Task Force, we are grateful that we were able to support this effort to fight child exploitation."
