Brooke Nicholls is coming to Manitoba

Canadian worship leader, Brooke Nicholls is making her way across Canada while making two stops in Manitoba where she is expecting to meet with the Spirit of God. 

"I always love that when we gather to worship, we have this opportunity to encounter Him and meet with Him," Nicholls says. "Whatever is that you need, all of that can be found in the presence of God."

New worship song hopes to bring listeners back to Jesus

Three talented Christian artists have teamed up to release a new song they hope will help draw listeners back to the simplicity of salvation in Jesus Christ.

The new single, 'Back to Jesus,' is a collaboration between, Juno- Award winner K-Anthony, Lloyd Nicks and Alisha Eich. 

"K-Anthony was the bridge that introduced us," said Lloyd." I have been friends with K-Anthony for about two or three years now. We started talking, and instantly we became like brothers. It was like we knew each other for years."

Shine the Light expands services in Dominican Republic after successful gala

The founders of Shine the Light initiative are thrilled after their inaugural gala in Winnipeg was a success, meaning more people will get help through their ministry.

Brent and Wendy Wong run Shine Dental in Winnipeg as well as Shine the Light Initiative in the Dominican Republic (D.R.). Normally the couple and their two sons go out to the D.R. up to five times a year but recently they have been spending the last few months there helping the ministry and home-schooling their children. 

'This album is my testimony': Jordan St. Cyr announces new music

Canada's own, Jordan St. Cyr, is gearing up to release a new album next month. 

The Tennessee resident shared in an email My Foundation is set to be released on June 14. 

"It comes on the heels of a really hard season and one that I now rejoice in for all gifts that were given through it," St. Cyr said. "This album is my testimony. It is a statement of faith declaring who my life is built on."

'You are my son': Australian Bishop forgives attacker after church stabbing

An Australian Bishop who was attacked and stabbed during a live-streamed church service returned to the pulpit this past weekend. 

Preaching with an eye patch, Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel spoke about the event and forgave the assailant.

"In the name of Jesus, I love you. I forgive you and I will always pray for you," said Bishop Emmanuel during the sermon. "My dear, you are my son...and will always be my son."

He went on to say that he wishes nothing but the best for his attacker. 

'I’m all in and bought for Jesus': Former Satanist finds God through prison ministry

A ministry called God Behind Bars is seeing many miracles come out of prisons, including a former Satanist who is now on fire for the Lord. 

"I am in prison for a very long time," says Daniel in a video interview on Instagram. "God has delivered me from gang-banging, from being on drugs, and being in a satanic cult that I’ve never seen anybody get out of."

Being involved in a Satanic cult didn't only affect Daniel's life, but also his family's.
