On Thursday, Mike Weaver's wife, Kandice, announced that Micah Elfrink, who helped their family while on tour, died in a tragic car accident last Saturday.

Rev. Dr. Doris Nathaniel Benford Sr. passed away on April 15. Benford was the pastor at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City and had been for 72 years straight.
Unsung Hero movie hits No. 2 in box office opening weekend
A Christian movie about the power of family took the second spot at the box office this past weekend.
Unsung Hero grossed over $7.7 million on its opening weekend at the theatres. The movie beat out Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. A movie featuring Zendaya called Challengers took the number one spot.
The movie portraying the difficulties the Smallbone family of 9 faced while uprooting themselves from Australia to the U.S. was showing in over 2,800 theatres across North America. Opening night was April 26, 2024.
