A young father who was serving as a missionary for SIM-USA was tragically killed last Friday. 

44-year-old Beau Shroyer was killed on Oct. 25, 2024, in an act of violence while serving Jesus in a remote area of Angola, Africa.  

"At this point, there are many details about what’s happened that are still unknown, however, we have been in contact with his wife Jackie, and are doing what we can to come alongside them in this shocking and awful time," said Pastor Troy Easton of Lakes Area Vineyard Church, Shroyer's sending church.

Award-winning singer and songwriter Mac Powell has released a new album.

The 11-track project I Love Jesus, celebrates the simple gospel message of what God has done in his life.

"With I Love Jesus I wanted to return to the simplicity of what I do," shares Mac Powell. "The gospel is a simple truth and I wanted to share that in simple songs that remind us of the love of Jesus."

Josh Lovelace, the keyboard and harmonica player in the Christian rock band Needtobreathe, is releasing a solo album titled Shelters. 

The album contains 11 tracks and covers a multitude of genres and themes. 

Lauren Daigle recently put on a special performance alongside renowned singer, Andrea Bocelli. 

On Monday, the pair performed 'Canto Della Terra' on Live with Kelly and Mark.

Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum-selling group Casting Crowns announced via social media on Sunday, that they plan to take a break.

The band recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, releasing a new album and documentary that shared the journey of the group over the past two decades. 

Mully Children's Family has been close to the heart of local author Paul Boge since he first visited decades ago. 

"I went to MCF for the first time in 2003 to teach physics and math, and Charles Mully asked me to write the story of his life," said Boge. "I almost fell off my chair. It felt like you were interviewing somebody who had just walked out of the book of Acts."

He has been involved ever since, writing five books about Mully Children's Family, including his latest book Transformations.

Fans of The Chosen are beyond excited as they await the release of Season 5 of the popular show. 

On Sunday, Dallas Jenkins announced via a live stream on YouTube that The Chosen's next season will be released in April 2025.

"It is coming to theatres, the entire season, not exactly all at once, but you will have a chance during the theatrical release to at some point, spend an entire day watching the entire season," said Jenkins.

A Winnipeg mission says it's seeking to honour its many volunteers in a unique way.

Union Gospel Mission is a Biblically-based, Gospel-oriented Mission in Downtown Winnipeg. 

It has seven ministries that run daily to serve the community. From men's addiction recovery, women's addiction recovery, children and camp, adult education at Faith Learning Centre, Christian school, street ministry, and family ministries. 

Professional surfer and Christian writer, Bethany Hamilton is mourning the loss of her three-year-old nephew. 

A week ago, Hamilton reached out to her friends, family and followers on social media to pray for the young boy. 

"HELP‼️ My precious nephew was medivaced to Kapiolani in Oahu this morning after drowning last night," said Hamilton in a post on Instagram. "He still has a heartbeat and has fight in him. Please pray. Thank you!"

Unfortunately, a few days later he passed away.
