An NFL player used God's word to soothe his wife as she delivered their second child. 

Chanen Johnson said on two occasions during labour and after delivery, her husband, Juwan Johnson, a football player with the New Orleans Saints, read the Bible to her.

Fresh off their GMA Dove Award wins, worship artists Bethel Music are releasing new music, including a single off their upcoming album. 

The single "Even Though I Walk" was released on Oct. 21, and features Hannah McClure. It is one of 18 tracks that will be on the new album We Must Respond that will be released on Jan. 10, 2025. 

Lost on a Mountain in Maine, produced by Sylvester Stallone, will be hitting theatres and inspiring people across North America in the next few days. 

"It's a story about Donn Fendler who was a kid who was lost, on a mountain, in Maine," says Luke David Blumm, the actor who plays Fendler. "It's a really good story. Deeper down it's a lot about the relationship between Donn and his father. The movie takes place in the 1930s when fathers and sons did not have the closest of relationships."

It's been almost a year since former Victoria's Secret model, Nicole Weider, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. 

Weider, who gave up her modelling career to follow Jesus, received the devastating news on Nov. 19, 2023.

A Canadian Christian jazz artist is releasing her latest single, "Walking by Faith," a battle cry for anyone facing the storms of life.  

Fiyin Obayan is from Saskatoon, SK. Her first single "Love Gives Me Wings to Fly" was released in February this year and she has received some great feedback on it. 

"Hearing from people in the community, people from church, people hearing it regularly have been excited," says Obayan. "It's been really good feedback all around."

Canada’s 2024 Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection season is underway.

Individuals, families, churches, businesses, sports teams, and community groups are now packing shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, plus personal notes and photos, to be delivered to children in need around the world.

Each Sunday, Grant Memorial Church is filled with congregants gathering for a time of worship and this week, there is an extra opportunity in the Throwback Worship Night.

On October 26 at 7 p.m., praise and worship music from the 1990s will be on full display. 

Cassandra Gingerich the music minister at Grant Memorial says, "In fact, I was quite surprised. As we've been chatting with different people, they are just as excited in their 20s as they are in their 50s. It seems everyone knows these songs, so it should be a good night." 

An 11-year-old from Miami, Florida is spreading God's word through her rock inspired music.

Mandy Corrente's latest single 'Not Alone' reminds listeners that God is with them every step of the way.

Around 200 women took part in a recent prison revival in Las Vegas.

Best-selling author and speaker, Jennie Allen and the God Behind Bars team, visited the maximum-security women's prison over the weekend. 

"There were 200 women in the room, and all but a few accepted Christ," said Allen. "Not just accepted Christ. They ran to Jesus."

Originally from Winnipeg, Heather Rosen has had quite a career in songwriting and singing. Now living in L.A. with her family, she is giving all her talents to God. 

Rosen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Man. and attended Miles Mac Collegiate. While she grew up going to church, Rosen had never understood the good news of Jesus and what His death and resurrection meant in her life personally. At the age of 16, she officially left the Christian faith and anything to do with it.
