On Monday, November 13, 2023 at the age of 92, Marie Rempel of Swift Current left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Monday morning, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 – 10:45 am at the Swift Current Funeral Home.

The Public Interment Service for Marie Rempel will take place at 11:00 am from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.

Walter Heiydt, age 99, of Ernfold passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Herbert & District Integrated Health Care Facility, Herbert, SK.

The Funeral Service for Walter Heiydt will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Community Complex in Chaplin with Donovan Epp officiating.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Community Complex prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:30 pm.

The Private Family Interment will take place from the Ernfold Cemetery immediately following the service.

John Barbier, age 88, of Vanguard passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Cypress House, Swift Current.

The Memorial Service for John Barbier of Swift Current will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Church of the Open Bible in Swift Current with Pastor Jay Hinds officiating.

The service will be livestreamed and the link posted on the funeral home website the day of the service. The service is also being recorded and will be posted as soon as possible.

Zachary Wolfe, age 35, of Cadillac passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

A service will take place at a later date and service details will be announced pending approval from the family.

In memory of Zachary Wolfe and for those wishing, a trust fund for Zachary’s children -Zerek and Viennley Wolfe – has been set up at Innovation Credit Union. Memorial donations made to the trust fund would be appreciated by the family.

On November 9, 2023, Judy Shatosky sadly passed away. There is no service planned at this time.

The Celebration of Life for Alfie Yolland, age 89, of Swift Current will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Restoration House in Swift Current.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the service.

The Private Family Interment service for Alfie Yolland will take place at Mount Pleasant Burial Park, Swift Current, SK.

A Private Family Service for Wesley McLachlan will take place in the following spring at Herbert Cemetery, Herbert, SK. 

In memory of Wesley, donations made to Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Bill Wall of Swift Current will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Rhineland Christian Fellowship Church in Rhineland with Pastor Alvin Buhler and Pastor Tim Knelsen officiating.

The Interment Service will precede the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at the Rhineland Christian Fellowship Cemetery.

James “Gary” Garfield Gordon of Tompkins, SK passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the General Hospital, Regina, SK.

The Celebration of Life for Gary Gordon will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Community Hall in Tompkins, SK.

Sharon Mellstrom, age 67, of Swift Current passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Willow Creek Manor, Swift Current, SK.

Service details will be announced pending approval from the family.
