Anna Marie Andree, age 83, of Ponteix, Saskatchewan passed away on September 18, 2024 at the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home.

Anna Marie was born on October 9, 1940 in Bracken, Saskatchewan to Mike and Mary Andree. Anna Marie is survived by her brother Tony Andree; niece Louise (Barry) Cloutier; nephews: David (Collette) Andree, Father Ronald Andree, and Wayne (Amy) Andree; 10 great nieces and nephews: Ben Cloutier, Tim (Svetlana) Cloutier, Nicole Cloutier, Michael (Sierra) Andree, John Andree, Thomas Andree, Katherine Andree, Joanna Andree, Mikayla Andree, and Dominic Andree.

It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Jacob Peter Wiebe announce his passing on July 31, 2024 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan at the age of 45 years old. The funeral service for Jacob Wiebe took place on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Old Colony Church in Vanguard, Saskatchewan with Reverend Jacob Guenther officiating. The pallbearers were his sons; Andrew Wiebe, Danny Wiebe, Johnny Wiebe, Ricky Wiebe, his nephew Johnny Tiechroeb, and his brother – in - law Peter Tiechroeb.

Sperlie, Henry Joseph age 80 years, of Mankota, passed away on March 7, 2024 at the Gravelbourg Hospital. A graveside service and luncheon is being arranged and will be announced at a later date.   

Mr. Balzer Stengler, age 94 years, passed away on February 11, 2024 at the Prairie Health Care Centre in Cabri, Saskatchewan.  Balzer was born on June 25, 1929 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan.  He later married Mildred Konanz.

Balzer is survived by a large family consisting of 5 children, their spouses along with many grandchildren and also some great grandchildren. He is predeceased by all his siblings, their spouses, all of Mildred’s siblings and their spouses, as well as many neighbors and friends.

The memorial service for Mrs. Irene Lavallee of Cadillac, Saskatchewan, will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Notre Dame d’Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix with Father Jules Adator officiating.

Hope Dorothy (MacDonald) Ulm - 103 years old of Aneroid and Ponteix passed away on February 12, 2022 at Ponteix, Saskatchewan.  The graveside service will be on June 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., and lunch will be at the 50 Plus Aneroid.  Everyone is welcome.  Laura Balas officiating.  Hope is survived by her daughter-in-law's, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Frank; son's Craig, Calvin, Brian, Dwayne, Harold; her 2 sisters; 3 nieces.  Hope was born in Ontario and came to Aneroid as a small child.  She went to school at
