Aisman, Patricia Elizabeth age 93 of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away on January 25, 2024 at The Meadows. She is survived by son Gordon (Brenda) Aisman, grandson Richard Aisman, granddaughter Ruth (Deric) Cole and great-grandson Everett Cole. She is predeceased by husband Richard Aisman, parents James and Elizabeth Herriot, brother Charles Herriot, sisters and their spouses, Marie (Frank) Widdifield, and Gertrude (Harry) Harrison. Leslie Arne Furseth
Leslie Arne Furseth of Abbey, SK passed away December 29, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born January 11, 1946 to Grace (Bull) and Arne Furseth at Elrose, SK. He grew up in the Sanctuary area where he went to school till grade 9. He enjoyed playing hockey, working with cattle and horses. Many miles were traveled to socialize in Beechy, White Bear, Clearwater Lake, and Kyle. His family billeted a Police Officer at the local detachment so, you know Leslie and his friends behaved like angels. Enjoyment was had driving his parents to square dancing.
Alley Hattum
With sadness, the family of Alley Hattum (age 67) from the RM of Swift Current, and formally Ponteix, Saskatchewan, announces his passing on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Alley is survived by his partner Cheryl; children: Leroy (Colleen), Alana (Jarrod), Justin (Melissa); stepchildren: Curtis, Michelle (Sheldon), Justin, and Chantelle; numerous grandchildren, his loving mom, brothers and sister, and many dear friends. Alley farmed his whole life. He enjoyed motor biking, building his hot rod, and spending time with his grandchildren.

John James Hunter
It is with great sadness, our brother, uncle, and friend John James Hunter passed away in Swift Current at the Cypress Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years on Wednesday January 17, 2024. He was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan on July 19, 1948 to parents Beatrice and Vern Hunter. He went to school in Pambrun and Vanguard. His younger years were spent working with his Dad on the family farm, riding horses, playing hockey, and participating in 4-H. He worked for the RM of Whiska Creek for 35 years and farmed the family farm.

Peter Z. Peters, age 84, of Swift Current formerly of Cadillac and Wymark, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Heritage Towers in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Beulah (Oscar) Patterson (nee Pyett), 96, died in Mesa, Arizona, on January 10, 2024.
Bea was born on December 8, 1927, to Irvine and Mabel Pyett in Minnesota, USA. Bea grew up and went to school in Melfort, Saskatchewan. She married Kelly Oscar of Leinan, Saskatchewan, in 1945.
Ruth Martens
Ruth Martens slept away Sunday, January 7th at the age of 88, soon to be 89 - March 3rd. She went to join her grandson Brennan Luffman (passed at age 24), her parents George and Edith Shaw, her brothers Donny and John and sister Kathleen. She leaves to grieve, her husband of 63 years John Martens, daughter Charlene Pottruff (Rob), son Trevor Martens, granddaughter Shelby Nowell (Holden), grandsons Brody Weyer-Clarke and Bryson Martens and great granddaughter Aramaya Nowell. Rob’s children, Staci Hill (Sean), Justin Pottruff, and great grandchildren Van, Roman, and Gavin.
