This month, we visited a Grade 7 class at École Parkside School and were met with so much energy and excitement. The students were a blast to hang out with, and we had some great conversations about what it's like to be in grade 7, what their favourite summer treats are, and more.

Venue change for Morden Family Resource Centre Teddy Bear Picnic this Saturday
The beloved Teddy Bear Picnic is back in Morden, and has been moved to the Access event centre due to today's (May 31st) smoky conditions. The fun will be happening inside the Huron Arena from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., bringing families, stuffies, and local healthcare professionals together for an afternoon of fun, learning, and support for local programming.
Hosted by the Morden Family Resource Centre, the event serves as the Centre’s largest annual fundraiser.
Pop culture fans flock to Morden for free weekend of gaming, collectibles, and cosplay
The Access Event Centre in Morden was buzzing this past weekend as fans of video games, vintage collectibles, Pokémon cards, comic books, cosplay, and more gathered for the latest edition of the Morden Pop Culture Expo. Organized by local enthusiast Trent Medynski, the two-day event offered free admission and something for everyone.
“We’ve got people coming in the door already. There was a line-up this morning,” said Medynski on Saturday. “Everybody’s ready to go. We’ve got the cotton candy ready. The icecycle treats are ready. The food trucks are ready. Let’s go!”

Winkler Bible Camp is nearly booked solid for summer 2025, with over 1,500 campers registered just hours after opening. With only a few spots left and new facilities ready to welcome guests, Camp Director Dale Wiebe says the season is shaping up to be one of their biggest yet.
