It is the beginning of March, and though it does not look like it outside with all of the snow that’s still on the ground, spring is coming! And now is the time to start planning your outdoor garden, and begin some indoor planting for spring.

Feeling overwhelmed with life's circumstances, Carine Bado wrote her new single about choosing to lay her burdens down at God's feet.

"I wrote 'At Your Feet' a year and a half ago," says Bado. "I had it in mind to release the song as a single last year in November. The new variant just changed all the plans of everyone. I thought in mind, okay, maybe God has other plans for this song."

'At Your Feet' was initially released on February 18, 2022, and it is the second single released on her upcoming EP Found & Crowned.

Manitoba Christian band The Color has been nominated for another Juno Award this year. 

"It's very exciting," says frontman Jordan Janzen. "We put a lot of time and energy into this album in a season where we really couldn't put our time and energy into a lot of other things."

The band was nominated in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album for the Junos with their newest album No Greater Love, announced Tuesday morning.

Winnipeg ceramic artist Jordan Van Sewell has been a mainstay on the Canadian art scene for more than 30 years. His works can be found in prestigious art collections around the world. His truly original artistic take on the world around him, has been praised by many for its insightful look at the world we are living in now, and the world that many of us have lived through in the past.

Jordan St. Cyr is touring through the U.S. with Anne Wilson, but he may have already played in front of one of his largest crowds.

This coming Tuesday, January 25, 2022, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra will kick off their much anticipated annual New Music Festival. There are three concerts this year, with a limited, socially distanced seating capacity of 250 people, however you can also see the concerts online and all of the concerts from the comfort of your home.
