Sports Round-Up: Thursday, November 7

The Moose Jaw Warriors have one more day of practice, preparing for back-to-back games tomorrow and Saturday nights. The Lethbridge Hurricanes are in Moose Jaw tomorrow with the Warriors on the road Saturday to play the Tigers in Medicine Hat.

Senior Boys volleyball semi-finals tonight, it’s Cornerstone against Central and Peacock plays Vanier.

Senior Girls volleyball semi-finals also happening tonight, with a matchup between Briercrest and Vanier, and it’s Peacock against Cornerstone. 

NBA last night, the Toronto Raptors fell 122-107 to the Sacramento Kings. 

Sports Round-Up: Wednesday, November 6

The Moose Jaw Warriors return to the Hangar this Friday night, where they’ll face the Lethbridge Hurricanes. 

Senior Boys volleyball quarterfinals last night, Cornerstone beat Briercrest 3 sets to none.

Senior Girls volleyball quarterfinals, Cornerstone beat Notre Dame 3 sets to none, and it was Peacock over Central 3 sets to 2. 

NHL last night, the Senators fell 5-1 against the Sabres, the Maple Leafs shutout the Bruins 4-0, the Flames took a 3-2 overtime win against the Canadiens, the Jets shutout Utah 3-0, and the Canucks scored a 5-1 win over the Ducks. 

Sports Round-Up: Tuesday, November 5

The Moose Jaw Warriors are preparing for Friday night’s game at the Hangar against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The team then travels to Medicine Hat Saturday to take on the Tigers. 

Senior Boys volleyball quarterfinal tonight, it’s a matchup between Cornerstone and Briercrest - Central, Peacock, and Vanier all have a bye to the semi-finals.

Senior Girls volleyball quarterfinals tonight, Notre Dame plays Cornerstone, Central faces Peacock, and its Rouleau against Briercrest. Vanier has a bye.

NHL last night, the Oilers were shutout by the New Jersey Devils, 3-0.

A: I’m running for City Council because I’m deeply committed to revitalizing Moose Jaw, creating real opportunities for businesses, and addressing pressing social issues like homelessness, addiction, and mental health. I believe that, with focused, actionable plans, we can make Moose Jaw a safer, more prosperous, and welcoming place for everyone.

Sports Round-Up: Monday, November 4

The Moose Jaw Warriors are back at home after winning just one of five games on their tour through the BC Division of the Western Hockey League. That win came against the Royals, in Victoria on Friday night by a score of 4-2. They finished off the trip with a 6-2 loss to Vancouver Saturday night. 

The Warriors are on home ice this Friday, when they’ll host the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
