The Moose Jaw Warriors are back on home ice tonight for the first time in three weeks, hosting the Regina Pats at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The Warriors riding a 6-game winning streak. Tonight's 50/50 Jackpot at the game is a guaranteed $20,000 - the winner will be drawn at the start of the third period.
The Warriors then face off against the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Moose Jaw Events Centre tomorrow.
Moose Jaw & District Food Bank closed for emergency plumbing
The Moose Jaw & District Food Bank is closed due to emergency plumbing issues Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8.
Staff at the Food Bank posted on their social media channels to apologize and thank clients for their patience.
Updates on the situation will be released on Monday, March 11.

Woman receives time served for stealing spree
A 47-year-old woman was sentenced to time served in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday for a string of thefts.
In a joint submission between Legal Aid lawyer Julie Knox and Crown prosecutor Rob Parker, Nicole Boughner pleaded guilty to six counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of failing to attend court, one count of breaching a probation condition and one count of assault.

The Moose Jaw Warriors are back to practicing in preparation for back-to-back home games this weekend. They'll host the Regina Pats tomorrow night with the Lethbridge Hurricanes visiting on Saturday.
The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors are still alive in the playoffs after a 4-3 win over the Regina Pat Canadians. Jonah Pinel scored one and set up two more, including the winning goal which was scored by Jake Briltz in the 3rd period. Game 4 of the best-of-five is at 7 tonight at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
Attempted murder case adjourned for potential resolution
A resolution could be coming soon for a man accused of attempted murder.
Aleida Oberholzer appeared via telephone in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday as an agent for Brian Pfefferle. Pfefferle is representing the accused, Dillon Peeace.
Oberholzer told the court that the case could be resolved and received an adjournment to March 19.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors have to win against the Pat Canadians in Regina tonight. Puck drop is 7:45 p.m. at Co-operators Arena 6.

The Warriors will play the Thunderbirds in Seattle tomorrow with puck drop at 9 p.m., and they'll finish off against the Wild in Wenatchee on Sunday - game time 6 p.m.
Woman in high-speed chase sentenced to jail time
A 34-year-old woman from Montreal Lake Cree Nation was sentenced to jail time in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday for charges stemming from a high-speed chase earlier this month on Highway 2 near Penzance.
More disclosure needed as sexual assault case gets adjourned
The defence lawyer for a 46-year-old Assiniboia man accused of sexual assault was adjourned to March 26 during Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday.
Legal Aid lawyer Suzanne Lalonde appeared on the man’s behalf and asked for an adjournment because there was incomplete disclosure. Crown prosecutor Monique Paquin agreed to the adjournment.

The Moose Jaw AAA Warriors shutout the Yorkton Maulers on the weekend 7-0 to wrap up the regular season. They'll take on the AAA Pat Canadians during the first round of playoffs. Game one is Saturday night in Regina.
