The Regina Police say the execution of a search warrant last Friday led to one of their biggest-ever fentanyl seizures.

The Regina Police Service Drug Unit and Tactical Support Officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in the 1900 block of Saskatchewan Drive. Two men and one woman were arrested. One of the men was carrying a loaded handgun at the time. 

The search led police to fentanyl, carfentanil, cocaine, methamphetamine, cash, and a loaded 9mm carbine rifle.

The lawyer for a man accused of attempted murder said they were not in a position to move forward with a bail hearing at Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday. 

Kyle Peeace appeared via video with his lawyer Nick Brown appearing over the telephone. 

Just 1:15 into last night's game, the Lethbridge Hurricanes scored the opening goal, and they only got stronger from there as they went on to a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors. That's 3 straight losses for the Warriors. 

Jagger Firkus scored two goals for the Warriors while Matthew Savoie scored the other one. The Warriors are back on the ice tomorrow against the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington with puck drop at 9 p.m., and you can catch all the action on Country 100.

The Moose Jaw Warriors are waking up in Lethbridge this morning and preparing for a game against the Hurricanes tonight.

The Warriors have lost two in a row while the 'Canes are winless in their last 7.

One more thing that we want to talk about today and is the city of Moose Jaw’s Smart Water Meter Project. I've had my water meter replaced. It wasn't that big a deal, had to make an appointment, then he found there wasn't enough room for it. And we made room for it and got it done. But it's a project, is it complete now?

Atley Calvert scored his 36th goal of the season, which proved to be the winner as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-2 last night. That's 6 wins in a row for Moose Jaw. The Warriors are back on home ice tomorrow when they host the Calgary Hitmen. All the action on Country 100 with the Voice of the Warriors James Gallo, starting with the pre-game show at 6:40.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors are on the road in Estevan this weekend for a pair of games against the Great North Bears Saturday and Sunday.

A man charged with attempted murder will have to wait a bit longer to get a bail hearing. 

Kyle Peeace appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday via video along with his lawyer Nick Brown via telephone. 

The appearance was scheduled to be a show cause hearing. However, Brown told the court they could not run the hearing because more information was needed. He asked for an adjournment to Feb. 22.

A 40-year-old woman who was caught up in a drug trafficking investigation was sentenced to 12 months of probation for simple possession of fentanyl at Moose Jaw Provincial Court recently. 

Jennifer Shirtliffe was in a relationship with Merlyn Hodgson last April when police were investigating Hodgson for trafficking fentanyl.
