Owner Scott Penner says that Pharmasave in Steinbach opened in September 2022, and currently employs less than a half-dozen employees. Business has been booming for 18 months now, which means the staff has to grow to keep up.

As a midfielder, Mosi Williams is accustomed to helping his teammates advance the ball and create goalscoring chances. He knows what it’s like to provide an assist, and he also acknowledges the assistance he’s received over the years as a promising soccer player.

A new survey is seeking out experiences on the farm. Available now, Homefield People & Strategy is conducting a research project that will help them learn about various experiences in the agricultural industry.

The about 5-minute-long survey begins with a chance for the farmer to introduce their situation, before going into more specific on-the-farm questions such as what crops you grow, how much land you farm, and the term that best describes your agricultural operation.

Provincially & Internationally Recognized Speakers Scheduled For The 37th Annual Brokenhead River Agricultural Conference

What had been halved in years past is now returning to its full potential! The 37th Annual Brokenhead River Agricultural Conference is coming February 6th and 7th, once again planned as a two-day event!

Terry Buss, crop production extension specialist with Manitoba Agriculture who partners with the Brokenhead Agricultural Society, shares that this event has been running since 1986.

Buss is pleased at the return of the two-day length, putting particular emphasis on the chance to focus on separate topics each day.
