Danny Berg’s journey with D&A Sales and Service began in the most modest of settings: his garage in Kleefeld. What started in July 2023 as a one- or two-day-a-week side hustle has now grown into a thriving business with a 2,500-square-foot facility – and big dreams for the future. 

“I started with a hope, a prayer, and a couple bucks,” Berg says with a chuckle. “We were repairing motors and pressure washers out of a 400-square-foot garage. It was very small at first, but we’ve come a long way.”

Partner Profile: Pure innovation from the ground up: Farm Freshwater is solving rural water challenges

Brian Tennant didn't plan to start a water treatment company. A trained plumber and second-year refrigeration mechanic, Tennant transitioned into farming at 25 and spent two decades on the land before selling his farm. When he purchased a new property near a golf course, he was confronted with a water problem that would spark a years-long journey of innovation. "My wife didn't want to move there because the water came from a dugout used by cows and ducks," Tennant recalls. "I told her, 'I'll fix it.'" 

ATVMB strengthens trail safety, advocacy, and tech for Manitoba riders
