George Penner, 94, of Winnipeg formerly of Grunthal, passed away Wednesday, March 12th at Donwood Manor. He is survived by 3 daughters, 2 sons, 6 sisters, 2 brothers, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Susan, 1 sister, 1 brother, and 1 nephew. 
Cremation has taken place. 
Donations may be made to MCC.

Funeral For:  Tina Wall 
Funeral Date: March 17, 2025 
Tina Wall, 92, of MacGregor formerly of Austin, passed away Wednesday, March 12th at MacGregor.  
The funeral service for Tina Wall will be held Monday, March 17th at 2pm at MacGregor Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at Austin Sommerfeld Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Clarke’s Funeral Home, MacGregor Sunday, March 16th from 5 to 7pm and at the church prior to the service. 
Donations may be made to MCC.

The memorial service for Miss Jordon Merrick-Maddex of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating.

Following the service, everyone is invited to join the family for refreshments in the multipurpose room at the church until 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Date: March 17, 2025 
Vern Wieler, 65, of Plum Coulee formerly of Rosengart, passed away Thursday, February 27th at his residence. He is survived by his wife Irene, 1 daughter, 2 sons, and their families.  
A memorial service for Vern Wieler will be held Monday, March 17th at 2pm at Bethel Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Hochfeld with burial prior to the service at Plum Coulee Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler Sunday, March 16th from 1 to 6pm. 
Donations may be made to Eden Foundation. 

Funeral For:  Frances Elizabeth Rempel 
Funeral Date: March 17, 2025 
Frances Elizabeth Rempel, 95, of Steinbach passed away Monday, March 10th at Vita Personal Care Home. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer. 
The funeral service for Frances Elizabeth Rempel will be held Monday, March 17th at 1pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Memorial Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel one hour prior to the service. 
Donations may be made to Southeast Helping Hands. 

Funeral For:  Peter Kehler 
Funeral Date: March 18, 2025 
Peter Kehler, 90, of Niverville passed away Sunday, March 9th at Heritage Life Personal Care Home. He is survived by his wife Mary, 4 daughters, 2 sons, and their families. He was predeceased by 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter. 
The funeral service for Peter Kehler will be held Tuesday, March 18th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with ash interment at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville at a later date. 
Viewing will be at the chapel one hour prior to the service.  

Tina Wall passed away on March 12 in MacGregor, at the age of 92 years.

Viewing will be on March 16, from 5 – 7pm, at Clarke’s Funeral Home, MacGregor.  

Brian Kantrud passed away at the Cypress Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 with his wife, Delores by his side. At Brian’s request, no formal service will be held at this time.

Brian is survived by his wife Delores; children: Ryan (Tanya) and family, Emery (Kim) and family; sister Susan (Clarke) and family; and many great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Annette passed away peacefully March 11, 2025, with her beloved husband and family members by her side.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Larry; siblings Lyle (Sylvia), Norman (Patra) and Debbie along with numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by parents Fred & Nellie Kitzul, Fred Lytle & Grace Cochran, and sister Dianne.
