1952 ~ 2025 (age 72)

Chrisine "Chris" Alexis Eby nee DeGagne of Oxbow passed away peacefully at the Bow Valley Villa on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at the age of 72.

Chris was born in Calgary and spent her younger years in Calgary, Cochrane and Exshaw, AB.

She would later meet her husband, Larry Eby and moved to Kindersley, SK. to a farm.

Captain Dennis William Lowe

The family of Dennis William Lowe are saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, March 6th, 2025.  Dennis was born in Regina, SK on July 17th, 1958.  He grew up in Moose Jaw, SK and attended Vanier Collegiate.  He enrolled in the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his Bachelor of Arts and his Commerce Degree in 1985.

The Funeral Service for the late Joan Markell of Shaunavon will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 11:00 a.m. from Christ the King R.C. Church in Shaunavon with Reverend Father Ron Andree officiating. Interment for the late Joan Markell will take place at Christ the King R.C. Cemetery at Shaunavon. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements. Prayer Services will be held from Christ the King R.C. Church on Friday, March 14th at 7:00 p.m.

Adam Jason Butler

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Adam Jason Butler on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2025.  A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Adam left this world surrounded by those he loved most. 

Born on September 19th, 1984, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Adam was the cherished son of Pam and Jay Butler.  He married the love of his life, Christina Aedan Butler (née: Whelan) on August 8th, 2009, and together they built a wonderful life, raising their two beautiful boys, Knox and Jack.

THOMAS “TOM” CHARLES BEECH

November 15th, 1948 – March 5th, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas “Tom” Charles Beech at the age of 76 years, on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  Tom, despite facing obstacles with mobility due to a medical condition, continued to live independently, maintaining his home and driving.  He passed suddenly after a recent diagnosis of heart disease.

Helen Guenther nee Giesbrecht, 94, of Winkler formerly of Gnadenthal, passed away Sunday, March 9th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 5 daughters, 1 son, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Peter. 
A memorial service for Helen Guenther nee Giesbrecht will be held Friday, March 14th at 2pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial prior to the service at noon at Rudnerweide Cemetery.

Irene Toews, 81, of Steinbach formerly of Giroux, passed away Friday, March 7th at Steinbach. She is survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons. She was predeceased by her first husband Bill Toews and her second husband Jack Letkeman.  
Cremation has taken place. 
A celebration of life for Irene Toews is being planned for late spring or early summer.
