Joseph Albert Byers, late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, born October 8, 1948, passed away peacefully July 5, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Lorne and Mabel Byers and his daughter Marlene.

Joseph will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Judy Byers of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Dawn Ricard of Sedley, SK; grandchildren, Kieran and Makena; son in law, Rick Ricard as well as many other relatives and friends.

Caroline Marie Saxon (nee Lukye)
August 2, 1954 – July 6, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of Caroline Saxon, a woman whose spirit, strength and zest for life touched all who knew her. Caroline departed this world surrounded by her loved ones, having lived every moment with courage, purpose and boundless love. She entered heaven on Sunday, July 6, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 70 years.

The Celebration of Life Service for the late Frelan Saunders of Admiral will be held on Wednesday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. from Salem Lutheran Church in Shaunavon with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. Interment for the late Frelan Saunders will take place at Admiral Cemetery at Admiral. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements.

A celebration of life for Maureen will be held on Friday, July 25, 10:00 am at the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home 338 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. A light lunch will follow.

Steve (Stefan) Zaremba, October 22nd, 1932 - March 30th, 2023 and Helen (Iliana, née: Andrei), May 7th, 1937 - May 21st, 2025; were predeceased by their son, Richard Wayne.

Glennis A. Peterson (nee Patchett)
1939 - 2025

With family by her side, Glennis passed away and was reunited with her husband Donald Peterson on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Weyburn General Hospital, Weyburn, SK at the age of 86 years.
The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Dannevirke Lutheran Cemetery with The Rev. Michelle Moore presiding. Please join the family at the Dannevirke Lutheran Church, Redvers, SK for the luncheon following the service. Pallbearers to be listed here.

Ruth Duester, 86, of Winnipeg formerly of Poland, passed away Saturday, July 5th at Riverview Health Centre. She is survived by her husband Erwin, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 sister, 2 sisters-in-law and their families. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 brother-in-law. 
The funeral service for Ruth Duester will be held Friday, July 11th at 11am at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road, with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery in West St. Paul.

Helena Epp, 81, of Winnipeg passed away Sunday, July 6th at Calvary Place. She is survived by her husband John, 3 children, and 8 grandchildren.  
The funeral service for Helena Epp will be held Saturday, July 12th at 2pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with reception to follow. Private interment will be held.

Fernand Gervais, of Bagot, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Tiger Hills Health Centre on July 7, 2025 at the age of 77 years.

It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Colpitts announces her passing peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 89.
Evelyn was born October 13, 1935, in London England. When she was a young child, her mother married a Canadian soldier, they came to Canada and first settled at Bateman, then moving to Neidpath.
