JAMES “JIM” NORMAN BOYACHEK

November 13, 1954 to August 3, 2024

In the early morning hours of August 3, 2024, Jim Boyachek (aged 69) passed away at his home with family in attendance.

Jim is survived by his wife Sandra (Hogaboam) and their daughter Charlene, grandsons Hudson and Hanley Boak and their father Sean Boak.  Also, brother Owen, sister Ellie (Russ Adams and son Billy), and brother Alex (son Travis Lewadniuk).

Erin Wade Anderson, formerly of Rossendale, passed away in Portage la Prairie, on July 4, 2024 at the age of 60.  

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Stacey, daughter Keeley, and son Kieran. Mother: Katherine, Brothers: Kevin (Bonnie), Shawn (Trish) Nephews: Connor and Reese, and Neice: Ryleigh, Mother and Father-in-Law Warren and Heather Callaghan, Sister-in-Law Darcee (Mark) McJannet, Nephew: Michael, and Niece: Madison.

Gina Desjarlais of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 46 years.

Gina was born in Kindersley, SK, on June 21, 1978. The Desjarlais' lived in the trailer court for a few years before settling into the family home on West Road. Gina lived in Kindersley, SK, Saskatoon, SK, Fort St. John, BC, and finally settled in Calgary, AB.

Dwayne Patrick St. Dennis

It is with great sadness the family of Dwayne Patrick St. Dennis announces his passing on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at the age of 68 years.  He was predeceased by Deborah McGillis; his mother, Patricia Pierce (St. Dennis); grandfather, Patrice St. Denis; and grandmother, Josephte St. Denis.  Dwayne will be sadly missed by his siblings: Brian, Daryle, and Lori (Ken); son, Patrick (Heather); nephews, Luke and Evan; grandchildren: Tye, Emma, and Allison; and great friends, Sandy and Tom.

Donna Lou O’Brien, late of Midale, SK passed away August 1, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

At Donna’s request, there will be no funeral service.  Interment will be held at Westphalia Cemetery, Midale, SK at a later date.

Mrs. Marian Nickel

Marian A. Nickel of Herbert, Saskatchewan, passed away at Outlook Hospital on August 5, 2024. Marian was born on March 30, 1936 in Herbert, Saskatchewan. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Don (Linda), Mel (Sharon), Lawrence; daughters: Elva (Blair), Shirley, Alice, Doreen (Steve), Patricia, and Sharon. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathie, Bertha, Selma; brothers: Peter, Carl, Deitrick; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred D.

Carmen Wade Keeler aged 67 years of Keeler, SK, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.  Wade was born October 22nd, 1956, in Moose Jaw, SK to Allister and Patricia Keeler.  He was the youngest of three children.  The first ten years of his life were spent on the Keeler farm.  He took the first 5 grades of his education in Keeler, belonged to the cub scouts, and played with the hockey team.  He liked to do all the things busy, curious, young boys do.
