It is with deep sadness that the family of Harvey Wayne Watson of Rossendale, Manitoba, announces his peaceful passing on May 5, 2025.
Born on February 22, 1941, in Portage la Prairie to John and Bertha (Orton) Watson, Harvey was raised in Rossendale where he developed a deep connection to his community, the land, and a lifelong appreciation for life’s simple joys. Dad was a devoted family man, who lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the love of those closest to him.

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Don Blight; son Rick Blight; parents Don and Mary Miller; sisters Margaret Miller, Dawn Alayne (Jim) Galbraith and Marilyn (Dave) Miller.

She was born November 26, 1943 to Evelyn (nee Poyser) and Herbert Radford and raised on the family farm in MacGregor. Dorothy passed away on May 3, 2025 at her home at the age of 81 years.

Peacefully on April 17, 2025, Theresa Lambert passed away peacefully at the Lions Manor in Portage La Prairie with her family by her side at the age of 89 years.
Theresa was born in Toronto, ON to Ralph and Isabel (nee Mckay) Gallimore. Mom grew up and attended school in Toronto with her younger brother Kenneth. She met her husband of 64 years, Arnold Lambert there and had their first son Stephen in Toronto.

Ken passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025 in Portage la Prairie. Ken is survived by his daughters, Leslie-Anne Hornberger (Barry), and Bobbi-Jo Gauld (Stuart), as well as his sister Bernice Kaleka (Ken), his brother-in-law Evan Smith (Margaret), and many cherished nephews and nieces. Ken was predeceased by his parents Les and Edith Holland, his brother Billy and his beloved wife of fifty years, Jeanne, who passed in 2011.

Peacefully, with family by her side, Gwen Turko, passed away in Monday, April 14, 2025 at her home in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 81 years.
Gwen was born is Silver Ridge, MB on September 5, 1943 at home on the family farm, and attended Naimandin School. She hated housework, so she was always out in the barn with her dad doing chores. She also worked for a school teacher, looking after her daughter for a couple of years.
