Cabri vehicles rummaged through, cash stolen and RCMP investigating
Cabri residents are dealing with the aftereffects of their vehicles being broken into.
Swift Current Rural RRCMP is investigating a host of vehicles being rummaged through in the community. This incident occurred on the night between June 10 and 11.
Security footage from a camera shows the culprit wearing a black cap, a red face covering, possibly a bandana, and a black outfit.
Items stolen include multiple mail keys and cash.

Heavy rain, flooding risk in forecast for west-central Saskatchewan this weekend
A potent low-pressure system rolling up from Wyoming is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds to parts of west-central Saskatchewan beginning Saturday, with meteorologists warning of localized flooding and wind damage through the weekend.
Forecasters say the system, aided by a deep upper-level trough crossing the Rockies and enhanced moisture from the south, is expected to stall over southern Saskatchewan, unleashing widespread rain and cooler-than-average temperatures. The storm will push eastward through the province overnight Saturday into Sunday.
RCMP respond to threats, theft, driving complaints in Rosetown area
Rosetown RCMP responded to a range of calls between June 12 and June 19, including threats, theft, break and enter, and a series of traffic complaints across the region.
The week began with officers investigating a report of uttering threats in Elrose on June 12. RCMP spoke with the person involved, and no further action was required. Later that day, members conducted a well-being check in the RM of St. Andrews, again determining no further intervention was needed.
RCMP searching for stolen truck
The Swift Current Rural RCMP are asking for help in locating a stolen pick-up truck.
On Thursday, Rural RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter in the RM of Swift Current at a rural property.
During the incident, a brown 2005 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Truck, bearing a Sask. license plate number 909 EFZ, was stolen. The truck has a chrome toolbox in the bed, and bears 'LT Thiessen Farms' on both passenger and river side windows. It also has a fifth wheel hitch in the box of the truck.
Eatonia students dig into outdoor learning with hands-on garden classroom

Students from grades 5 to 9 are trading desks for dirt as they explore agriculture, environmental science, and wellness through a thriving outdoor classroom and garden project. Officials say one dead, three hurt in rockfall at Banff National Park hiking trail
Police and parks officials say one person was killed and three were injured in a rockfall at a remote hiking trail in Banff National Park.
They say the search continues to confirm no other hikers are missing following the early afternoon tragedy at Bow Glacier Falls, north of Lake Louise.
One person had been found dead and the extent of the injuries to the other three is unknown.
Two of the three injured were taken to a Calgary hospital by STARS air ambulance and the third went to hospital by ground ambulance.
Emergency crews respond to semi-truck collision at Kenaston intersection
Emergency crews were on scene Thursday evening following a collision involving a semi-truck at the intersection of Highways 11 and 15 near Kenaston.
The crash occurred around suppertime, debris was scattered across the highway, and traffic was disrupted as emergency responders worked to secure the scene.
There was no immediate word on injuries. RCMP and other emergency services remained on-site as of early Thursday evening, and no official updates had been provided by police or EMS.
OSY Rentals Ball Report: Highlighting the 18U AAA Zone 7 Sun Devils
The 18U AAA Zone 7 Sun Devils are noticing some clear growth with summer play well underway out of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League.
The group is 5-11 on the season. The team has two shutout wins in their last four games, already surpassing their 2024 win total this season.
A few local players are on the team that encompasses a wide-ranging area. Graduated players from last year haven't gone far either, playing senior in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League with the Unity Cardinals.
