Carnduff RCMP issues 11 charges after investigation into alleged assault near Glen Ewen
Carnduff RCMP arrested a southeast man and charged him with 11 counts related to an alleged assault last week.
Members received a request for assistance at around 10 a.m. on October 23 for a rural property northwest of Glen Ewen.
When officers responded they determined that an adult female had been assaulted by an adult male, who turned out to be wanted on a warrant by the Carnduff RCMP for breaching court-ordered conditions. The male was arrested at the scene without incident.

In Cannington, Daryl Harrison won reelection after first being elected back in 2020.
With a near-identical vote share as in 2020, Harrison says that he's happy to see the support from the community.

Despite tough loss, Viragos celebrate season of growth and grit
The U18 Estevan Viragos wrapped up their season with a hard-fought game against the Melville Vipers, who emerged with a 72-24 victory. The Vipers, one of the league's strongest teams, had faced the Viragos several times this season.

Residents throughout the city had a chance to get to know their candidates on October 16 with an election town hall held at the Wylie Mitchell Hall. Advanced polls will be available today and tomorrow at City Hall from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. A drive-thru polling station will also be available on Saturday, November 2 at the Estevan Fire Hall from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
