A second person has been charged with Second Degree Murder in the death of a 21-year-old Brandon man last Friday in Swan River. 
    
On Saturday, two, 16-year-old boys were arrested, with one charged with Second Degree Murder at the time and remanded into custody
    
On Wednesday, RCMP said the second teenager has now also been charged. 
    
As well, a third suspect, a 15-year-old boy from Swan River, was arrested and charged with Manslaughter on Tuesday. He was also remanded into custody.

The investigation continues.

Donald Trump clinched the United States election after a tumultuous campaign as Canadian officials espoused the important relationship between neighbours in congratulations to the former president on his extraordinary comeback.

Wally Loeppky, 80, of Winnipeg formerly of Altona, passed away Tuesday, October 29th at Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents Diedrich and Ann Loeppky and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Wally Loeppky will be held Friday, November 8th at 10am at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street.

The Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame has announced its class of 2025. Nine individuals will be inducted, and they are Clark Andres of Roblin, Lindsey & Matthew Dahl of Winnipeg, Ryan Scott of Irishtown, New Brunswick, Scott Kelman of Winnipeg, Jim White of Neepawa, Fred Matsubara of Winnipeg, Jack Scott of Winnipeg and Golden West sportscaster Clayton Dreger.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is extending congratulations to Donald Trump on his re-election as president of the United States. 

Trump staged a major political comeback, securing the necessary 270 electoral college votes to win the presidency in the early hours of Wednesday morning. 

This concludes a turbulent campaign for Trump, which included being convicted of 34 felonies in a hush-money case and two assassination attempts. 

The Viterra Men's Provincial Curling Championship is reaching a major milestone when the championship comes to Stride Place in early 2025. It will be 100 years that the tournament has been around, and Dean Moxham shares why that's a big deal.

"We're the first province in Canada to reach 100 years of men's provincial championships," Moxham notes. "We've always been at the forefront of winning national championships, and there's a strong community background for curling here."

Moxham adds that there could be a tough group trying to reach the provincial championship.

Obby Khan says now is a great opportunity to deliver his positive and respectful leadership style.

Khan is one of two candidates vying to become the next leader of Manitoba's Progressive Conservative party.

"For months, I've been attending gatherings - small and large - and that really helped me make the jump to doing this," he said. "Listening to people over and over again, the common theme (that) came up was, 'build a really strong team, Obby. Show respect, listen, build each other up'."

Former president Donald Trump is poised to return to White House after a polarizing U.S. election that deeply divided the country.

The U.S. election on Tuesday saw Trump post early wins in critical states by taking Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. 

Vice-President Kamala Harris did not appear at her election night party at her alma mater Howard University in Washington. 

Top aides told the audience that Democrats would continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted.
