Thomas Frank Shopa aged 78 years of Chaplin, SK, passed away on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.  A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held in the spring.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to David “Dave” Epp.  Dave was born in the Ukraine on August 29th, 1929 and passed away in Moose Jaw, SK on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital with his son Brian by his side.  He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey in 2019.  Dave is survived by his three sons; David G. Epp, Eric F. Epp and Brian P. Epp; five grandsons; Jesse D. Epp, Christian A. Epp, Tyler J. Epp, Andrew D. Cameron, and Brian D. Cameron; and two great-grandsons; Allister J. Cameron and Ewan A. Cameron.

THERIEN

Christine Lynn Therien, born on November 11, 1965 to Marcel and Hazel in Westlock, AB.  She passed away on November 28, 2023 at the Regina General Hospital.

The family moved to Moose Jaw in 1967.  Renee, a sister for Christine was born January 3, 1968.  Sadly, Renee passed away at 27 years of age. 

Christine attended Westmount and Riverview Schools for 11 years.  She was active playing softball and enjoyed playing music with her guitar, accordion and violin.  She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them. 

Kathleen (Kay) Joyce Hales (nee Hutchinson). Kathleen passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 in her 97th year. Born to Leslie and Stella Hutchinson on September 26, 1926, she was the only daughter, and last surviving sibling. Her four brothers were Russ, Allan, Bill and Grant. She is also predeceased by her husband Melville and her daughter and best friend Loraine Ramage.

GIBSON

Elizabeth Jean Gibson passed away on November 28, 2023 at 87 years of age.  She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth and parents, Charlie and Sarah “Sadie”.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Dale with grandchildren: Zachary and Amanda (Tayte) Goddard; daughter, Kenda (Kevin) Eberle with grandchildren: Shivaun, Dylan and Austin. 

DALY

Esther Lily Daly passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Moose Jaw in November of 1926 to Rose and Alex Wilson. Esther attended school at Enterprise just east of the airport, she then attended Newberry School. She was married on October 14, 1946 to Ira Daly and went on to live alongside of Highway 2 for more than seventy years. Ira and Esther had five children, four boys: Stephen, Murray, Herb and Barry and daughter, Monica. Esther worked alongside Ira on the farm, milking cows and running all of the farm machinery…you name it, she did it.

It is with sadness that the family of Leroy Michael Geib announce his passing on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the age of 64 years. Leroy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Leigh-Ann Geib; as well as numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Leroy’s life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Minto United Church, 1036 7 Avenue NW, Moose Jaw, SK.
