ANDERSON

Another gentle heart stopped beating on Monday, September 11th, 2023.  It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Frederick Anderson, with his family by his side.    Don was born in Moose Jaw, SK on June 17th, 1949 to Hazel and Richard Anderson.

GIBSON

We are sad to advise that Linda Rae Gibson passed away Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 after an illness lasting over two years.  We all admired her strength and positivity.

TRESSEL

Iris Audrey Tressel aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at Providence Place.  Iris was born April 5th, 1935 in Duff, SK to Elizabeth and Jacob Schick.  She was the youngest of 6 children.

Iris met Ken Tressel at a dance in Duff and they were married Nov 27th, 1954.  They welcomed their son, Merv in 1955, followed by Doug in 1959.  The family moved to Moose Jaw where she raised her boys, spent time with friends and family, and worked at Maccosham Van Lines.

TKACHUK, David John

April 14th, 1952 – September 6th, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David John Tkachuk aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK.  He was surrounded by friends and family at the time of his passing on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. 

MCDONALD

Marilyne McDonald was born October 21st, 1958 to the Dene tribe of Canada.  Marilyne passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1st, 2023 in the presence of her dearest friend Roberta, and her MJFFC family.

NUTTALL

Kevin Sean Nuttall aged 65 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 4th, 2023. Kevin was born on May 7th, 1958 in Kindersley, SK to Charles (Dudley) and Dorothy Nuttall, and grew up in Moose Jaw. After attending Queen Elizabeth public school and Central Collegiate High School, Kevin worked as a group activity aid at Valley View Centre until his retirement.

JEANNIE LONGWORTH

June 14th, 1959 - September 5th, 2023

BROOKER

James John Brooker aged 61 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023.  James was born in Moose Jaw, SK.  He was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Tina Brooker; and parents, Ruth and John.  James is survived by his daughter, Tamara (Josh) Korchinski; grandchildren, Isabella and Wyatt Korchinski; son, Travis (Aleesha) Brooker; grandchildren, Ayden and Nola Brooker; brothers, Edward (Cheryl) Brooker and Bert Brooker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

DYCK

With her beloved family by her side, Carol Faye Dyck (née: Ludke) completed her earthly journey and went HOME to her Savior.  Born July 19th, 1941, Carol transitioned to her eternal home on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.

VIOLET CLOTHIER (née: Scott)

October 4th, 1928 - September 1st, 2023

Violet Clothier aged 94 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Friday, September 1st, 2023.  Vi was born and raised in Moose Jaw, the youngest and last surviving sibling of 8 children.  As a young girl Vi participated in Girl Guides, attending Guide camps at Connors Park in a Moose Jaw.  Later she joined CGIT, and at the time of her aging out, Vi was the provincial president of CGIT Saskatchewan.
