It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden and heart-breaking passing of Avery Alexander Costley.  Heaven gained a beautiful angel on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 when Avery lost his battle with addiction due to an accidental Fentanyl overdose. 

CHILSON

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Constance Chilson aged 90 years of Moose Jaw, SK, on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. 

Shirley was born in Moose Jaw, SK and spent her years growing up in Briercrest, Buttress and Archive Districts in Saskatchewan.  She attended Red Lake School.

ANDREWS

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Carol Frances Andrews, aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, SK, on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at the Dr FH Wigmore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family and special friend Judy.  She was born on August 5th, 1942 in Caron, SK.

HOWARD

John Allen Howard born February 19th, 1939 was released from his earthly suffering related to Alzheimer’s Disease and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at the age of 84 years.  John was born in Moose Jaw, SK and was treasured by his big sister Trish, who welcomed his arrival home to the small homestead house on the farm where he slept as a baby in a dresser drawer for a crib.  He lived the entirety of his life on the Century-plus Howard family farm at Brownlee, SK. 

WHITFIELD

Norman Dale Whitfield aged 69 years of Briercrest, SK, passed away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, sleeping in his favourite chair, surrounded by family.  Dale spent all his life in the village of Briercrest.  After graduating from Briercrest School in 1972, Dale started farming with is dad, Uncle Vin, and brother Barry.  In June of 1975 Dale married his high school sweetheart Helen Jasper.  They lived in Briercrest where they farmed and raised their children, Nancy and Michael.

With deep sadness, the family of Earl Lloyd Holmes aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, SK, announce his passing on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 after a very long, stubborn fight with cancer.

LINDA MARSHALL

Linda Marie Marshall (née: MacInnis) aged 77 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at Crescent Park Retirement Villa after a long battle with dementia.

It is with great sadness we share the passing of our dear loved one and friend, Carol McCreary (née: Trudel) on Friday, April 21st, 2023.

Carol grew up in the small town of Morse, SK with her parents, Lou and Anna Trudel.  After finishing high school, Carol moved to Moose Jaw, SK for hair dressing.  After a short amount of time as a hairdresser, Carol started her career of 44 years as a Care Aide at Moose Jaw Extendicare.

WATERMANUK

On Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, the world lost a great man.  After a courageous battle against cancer, Steven “Steve” Nicolas Watermanuk aged 75 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away holding the hand of his loving wife Carol.
