Fortis has flipped the switch
With assistance from the City and the fire department, Fortis has brought electricity back to the many parts of Airdrie that were affected by the power outage this morning, ahead of schedule. Many businesses were impacted by the previous outage, which left the lights out along a large portion of Main Street.
The morning commute was affected as well but things seem to be getting back to normal now. The cause of the outage was a wire down.
