Carl Lincoln Anderson passed away peacefully in his sleep after a life lived to the fullest.

He was born on his parents’ Leonard and Aquina’s homestead near the head of Rock Creek. His life’s career began at an early age as he tended to the sheep and the cattle. The ranch was always home.

He loved to learn. Rural schools included Macworth, Woodville, and Sister Butte. He graduated from high school in Fir Mountain. He attended technical school in Moose Jaw.

The family of Ambrose Grywacheski of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan is saddened to announce his passing on August 31, 2023.

Dad was born at home on the farm near Hyas Saskatchewan on June 6, 1941.

He was a man of all trades which he acquired from growing up on a farm. He was a longtime fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Dad’s life was focused on his family. Everyone from his kids, parents, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins - he always looked forward to spending time with them.

Candace Shorson

It is with sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Candace Shorson on August 28, 2023, at the age of 43. She will be sadly missed by her sons Jimmy Shorson, and Danny Derret; her mother Selma “Sally” Shorson; siblings Daniel Bryce and Denika Bryce as well as other family members and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Peepeetch.

Garth Orval May

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Orval May on August 30, 2023, at the age of 85. Orval was born to Anthony and Loretta May. He is predeceased by his parents; wife Marion; brothers Lorne, Gerry, Mervyn, Don, Keith (Joe); brother-in-law Merlin Waller: grandson Jordan. He will be sadly missed by his children Garth (Charlene), Sharon and Les; grandchildren Destiny (Taylor), Wyatt, Katie (Rick and his son Lincoln), Ryan and a great granddaughter Katrina; sisters Ruth Bathgate and Elaine Waller; sister in law Gloria May.

Esther Dunn

It is with sadness the family of Esther Dunn announce her passing on August 26, 2023, in Hazenmore, SK at the age of 68. Esther is survived by her spouse Gary Thomas and his two daughters and five granddaughters; her biological daughter Krista Glova; siblings Val (Marv) Wiks, Ian (Carol) Dunn and Drew Dunn as well as eight nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Cathy and Bill Dunn and her son Christian.

Sharon Fern Taylor

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Fern Taylor

(Puschelberg) age 54 of Assiniboia, SK on Sunday August 20th, 2023. Sharon was born June 23, 1969, in Regina Saskatchewan to Trevor and Patricia Puschelberg.

Sharon is predeceased by her grandparents, Harry and Evelyn Puschelberg of Regina Sk. Malcolm and Fern Wallace of Lang SK. Her father Trevor Puschelberg, husband Mitchell Taylor of Moose Jaw, SK.

Bill Hariniuk

Bill Hariniuk of Moose Jaw passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 88. Bill was born in Kayville, SK to Mary and Zaharie Hariniuk. Bill joined the military and served for 25 years. When he retired from the military he worked at Sears and as a Commissionaire. Bill met and married Mary Christbason and they were married for 52 years before her passing in 2010. Bill will be sadly missed by his son David and his partner Robin as well as other family members and friends.

Regina Tress

Regina Tress passed away on July 29, 2023, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  Regina was born in the Bayard, Saskatchewan area on June 24, 1929.  She was the eldest of nine children born to Frank and Anne Morhart.  Regina received her first year of schooling at Hapsburg School, near Bayard then the remainder of her schooling in Spring Valley, Saskatchewan.  She left school in 1944 to help her parents with the farm until 1945, when she went to work in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  In 1946, she returned to Spring Valley to work in the general store.

Sharon Lea Sowden

We are saddened to share the sudden passing of Sharon Lea Sowden on August 6, 2023, at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK. Sharon was the first of three children born to Al and Dellmary Sowden on January 11,1951. She lived life to its fullest. Sharon liked trapping in the NWT, firefighting in Fort Simpson, and building a log cabin. She was involved in the Legion, Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, and local seniors’ centers. Her Grandkids and great grandkids were her shining stars. She loved them more than they ever knew.
