Donald Stockton

It is with heavy hearts the family of Donald Stockton (Don) announces his passing on Thursday August 8, 2024, at the age of 100 years. Don was born in Radville, Saskatchewan where he grew up on the family farm until his teen years when he moved with his parents to Saskatoon to attend technical school. Don joined the Air Force during the war and following his training was stationed in Asia Pacific.

Donelda was born and raised on her family's farm near Riverhurst, Saskatchewan, the only daughter of Addison and Lena (Sinclair) Dean. After graduating high school, she attended Normal School and taught in several country schools near Mortlach, Saskatchewan. It was there that she met and married her husband, Harvey Thompson. They moved to Moose Jaw and added to their family, a son Wayne and a daughter Barbara.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gerald Henry Usher on Thursday May 16, 2024. Gerald passed away peacefully at his home in Moose Jaw, SK, and is reunited with the love of his life Yvonne Bennett who recently passed away. Gerald is predeceased by his parents Fred Usher and Dorothy Knight; and his sister Louise Roemer. Gearld leaves behind sister Teresa White; stepchildren Karyn, Jodi, and Steven; grandchildren Ryker, Keegan, Mataya, Kinsey, Pyper, Reyan, Paisley, and Salem; as well as numerous friends and family.

Lila Winnifred Anderson

Lila Winnifred Anderson passed away peacefully April 11, 2024 at the age of 94 in Moose Jaw.

She was the daughter of Sherman and Eleanor Tremere and sister to Hilson. She grew up on their homestead at Ormiston. Lila attended Curry School there, and was promoted to Grade 2 on her very first day of school because she already knew how to read. She had to go to Crane Valley to finish grade 11 and 12, and decided from there to pursue a teaching career by enrolling in Normal School in Moose Jaw.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sara on February 25, 2024.

Sara was predeceased by her uncle Kelly King; grandparents Gerald (Jerry) and Elizabeth King; and birth father Morris Ekkebus.

Sara is survived by her mother Brenda Knowlton (Greg Tanner); brothers Dustin and Andrew (Natasha Jones); stepfather Bob (Nikki) Knowlton; Uncle Cam King (Marie); cousins Zac King (Dru Rodgers) and Tailia King as well as numerous extended family and friends,

Yvonne Bennett

Yvonne Bennett passed away on May 3, 2024, in Regina, SK with her family at her side.

Yvonne is predeceased by her parents Bud (George) and Fran (Bangle) Bennett; maternal parents Eric and Elizabeth (Bitternose) Anderson; and brother Ernie Anderson

She leaves behind her partner Gerald Usher; children Karyn, Jodi (Scott), and Steven; grandchildren Ryker, Keegan, Mataya, Kinsey, Pyper, Reyan, Paisley, and Salem; sister Kerri (Perry) Bell; brothers Wilby Anderson and Floyd Anderson; as well as numerous family and friends.

Vera Ann Wahpooseyan

It is with profound sadness to announce Vera Ann Wahpooseyan "Baby Ann" passed peacefully into the spirit world on Friday May 3, 2024, at Dr. F.H Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw with her loving family by her side.

Vera was born on Sheesheep First Nation to Edward and Ruby Wahpooseyan on January 5, 1951, but resided in Moose Jaw. She is predeceased by her parents; sons Tyler and Scotty; brothers Jimmy, Harry, Russell, and Greg; and Sister Leona Gettle 

Leslie 'Les' Harris

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Leslie “Les” Harris. Dad passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of April 10, 2024, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital.

Dad was born and raised in Kenaston, SK. When dad retired, he moved to Moose Jaw and resided at Victoria Towers, where he called the residents his second family.

Dad was predeceased by his parents Clair and Mildred Harris; sisters Liliane Tisnic and Joan Sagan; grandson Brandon Harris.
