Maxine grew up in Moose Jaw and was a true prairie girl who loved exploring the back roads of Saskatchewan her whole life.  She especially loved hunting for the first crocus of spring.

Maxine enjoyed all her pets, gardening, and working on her little turquoise house.  She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.  She relished discussing current events and she said her one regret was not being able to witness Trump being put in jail.

Olive passed away December 9th, 2023, at Extendicare (Palliative Care) in Moose Jaw at 101 years of age. Olive was born on May 9th, 1922, in Estevan, SK, she is the daughter to Louis Edward Hanson and Salina Ann Hanson. Beloved wife of the late John Earl Nant.

Dianne Buccholz

It is with sadness that the family of Dianne Buchholz (nee Cooper) announces her sudden passing October 13. She was 54. She is survived by her husband Robert, mother Sharron, brother Mitchell (Mima), Teresa Buchholz, Kevin (Mandy) Buchholz, David Buchholz, and niece Violet, nephew Jackson.

Dianne was born January 21, 1969, and grew up on the family farm, located a few miles north of Moose Jaw. She loved farm life. As a child, she helped during calving season, and applied that experience in 4H. She threw hay bales. She rode horses. She was in every way, a prairie girl.

Roselyn "Rose" New

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roselyn “Rose” New at the age of 90, on October 6, 2023.

Rose was born on October 17, 1932, to Dorothy and Alex Zaretsky and was the eldest of four siblings. Strong-willed with an enormous heart full of curiosity. Rose lived a joyful life devoting several years to the farm, alongside her many hobbies.

Victoria ( Vicki ) Ell

Victoria (Vicki) Ell of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on October 15, 2023, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital after a long and busy life. She was 93.Vicki was predeceased by her husband Nick Ell, daughter Barbara, father Walter Bank, Mother Francis Bank, stepmother Rosa (Bank) Langelier, siblings Stanley Bank, Joe Bank, Florence Bank, Josephine (Gabriel) Burkhart, Frank Bank; and Veronica (Gus) Berjian. 

Elsie Ruth Harrison

Elsie Ruth Harrison at the age of 95 went home to Jesus peacefully on May 24, 2023.  Elsie was born on Oct 7, 1927, to Robert and Emma Lightle in the Brownlee District, SK. Survived by her Son Vernon Harrison (Kathleen), her daughter Violet Beaudry (Michael), her Grandchildren: Adam, Steven, Jenna, Vaughan, Seth; her Great Grand Children: Marcus, Sarah, Avery, Keir, Scarlett, Nikko, Hayden, Ramya, and Titus. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Pearl, Dorothy, Laura, and her husband Garth.

Ruby Radu

Ruby passed away November 26, 2022, in Regina, Saskatchewan, at the age of 90.  She was born in Camrose, Alberta, on November 2, 1932, to Ethel and August Johnson.  Ruby grew up on the family farm near New Norway, Alberta.  She is predeceased by her loving husband, Jack George Radu; her parents Ethel and August Johnson; her brothers, Alfred, and David; and her sisters, Edith, Mabel, and Eunice.  Ruby is survived by her sister-in-law Marion Radu, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A Graveside Service will take place on May 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Rosedale Cemetery.

Erna Mamie Pullam

With deep gratitude for her life, Erna’s family circled her bed in the wee hours of the morning April 11, 2023, as she slipped from this life and flew onward.

Erna’s life was truly a gift to so many. She was deeply cherished. She made a difference. Her passion was people and caring for people.

Elaine Cathy Tyers

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter Elaine Cathy Tyers (Mergel).  Elaine passed away on Friday, January 27th, 2023, at the age of 63 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan after a prolonged battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
