Berries stay buzzing amidst recent rainouts

While the recent rainfall is more than welcome across the province, it's been putting a solid dent in first pitch plans for local baseball teams.

One of those teams in particular, the WCBL's Saskatoon Berries, played a doubleheader over the weekend against the Energy City Cactus Rats. Sports Round-Up: Tuesday, June 24

Two Moose Jaw teams were in action against the Wynyard Blues last night in the Rambler Park Fastball League. The Giants were first up and nabbed an 11–5 win, but the Blues answered that loss by shutting out the Canadians 11–0 in the late game.

Only one Western Canadian Baseball League game last night: the Brooks Bombers beat Lethbridge 10–5.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express are back at it this evening. They look to snap a two-game skid as they kick off their series against the Gulls in Sylvan Lake.
