It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Bidochka announce her passing on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at the age of 60 years.

Beloved sister of Norm (Laura) Bidochka of Calgary, AB.

Aunt of Caitlyn Bidochka of Frankfurt, Germany and, Jaclyne Bidochka of Kamloops, B.C.

The family of Jean McIvor are saddened to announce her passing on Friday, June 28th, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Cliff McIvor;

loving mother of Rod (Nancy) McIvor, Troy (Christie) McIvor, 

and the late Kirk (Joanne) McIvor, and Jewel (David) Billett.

Jean was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Bernice Coombs.

Jean will be lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

James "Jim" Vollans Obituary

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jim" Arthur Vollans, who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, at the age of 89. Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife, Alice Vollans; children, Daryl Vollans, Dawn (Danny) Powell, and Aaron (Holly) Vollans; grandchildren, Norma, Dustin, Kaitlyn, Cassidy, Casey, and Kennedy; and great-grandchildren, Keegan, Aniyah, and Keelee.

Richard Blackport
February 9, 1928 – June 30, 2024

Richard Albert Blackport passed away peacefully with family by his side at Humboldt District Hospital on June 30, 2024. Richard was born at Sec. 23 Tp. 31 R.21 W2nd, east of Lockwood on February 9, 1928 to Jacob and Mary (nee Fischer) Blackport. They moved to the farm 2 miles south and 5.5 miles east of Lockwood in 1939. He walked both ways to attend Otterburn and Howart schools, later completing Grade 10 by correspondence.
