Terriers 2023-24 season tickets on sale
The Portage Terriers season tickets are available now.
The Dogs had an incredible regular season campaign in 2022-23, and they're hoping to follow it up with another prosperous season, but they will need the support of the local fans to do so. Marketing director Cody Buhler says season ticket holders from previous years won't have a larger hole in their pocket than they're used to.
Terriers first-round pick hopes to help bolster backend in 2023-24
The Portage Terriers are proud of the 2022-23 season but are looking to keep the success rolling into next year. The Dogs are losing three of their regulars on the backend from last season but drafted five new blueliners in the 2023 MJHL Draft.
The Terriers' first selection came 13th overall, and they picked up Reece Gault out of RINK Hockey Academy.
Former Terrier traded to Steinbach
Brandon Funk is on the move for the second time in six months.
The forward was traded by the Winnipeg Blues to the Steinbach Pistons in exchange for the MJHL List Rights to Blake Goretzki and Cole Penner. Funk says he is extremely excited to play for a high-calibre franchise like Steinbach.

Kiesman grateful to have played in the Dog Pound
The Portage Terriers acquired veteran forward Bryden Kiesman a month into the 2022-23 regular season, and he fit in immediately. The Winnipegger picked up nine points in his first five games as a Terrier, scoring a hat-trick in his first appearance in the green and white.
Kiesman was traded from the SJHL's Nipawin Hawks in exchange for forwards Alyandro De Leon and Hudson Cameron.
Terriers organization credits Portage community for Centennial Cup's success
