From backyard rinks in Portage la Prairie to NCAA Division 1, Ryan Botterill's hockey journey is set to take him to the University of Wisconsin.
Botterill has spent this season playing for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL. So far this year, the Portage la Prairie native has picked up 8 goals and 7 assists through 16 games, putting him in a three-way as the Phantom's leading point-getter.

Botterill had an exceptional 2022-23 season while playing for the Terriers, scoring 45 goals, which led the MJHL. Additionally, he was named an MJHL First Team All-Star and received the Frank McKinnon Memorial Trophy for his outstanding sportsmanship and playing ability.
During his three-season stint with the Terriers from 2020-2023, Ryan Botterill notched 55 goals and 33 assists in 74 games.
