The Winnipeg Fringe Festival is officially here!
Running from July 19th through 30th, more than 170 local, national and international artists and companies showcase a wide array of theatrical offerings.
One such work is The Dreams of Nebuchadnezzar presented by Geraüschbiest (literally: noise beast).
Fringe performer brings to stage personal secrets and themes of forgiveness
"Private Parts: The Secrets We Keep" is a storytelling performance of how life events impacted performer Joanna Rannelli and she brings it to the stage for Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival.
Joanna Rannelli is a Vancouver-born performer who first brought her talent to Winnipeg at last year's Fringe Festival with her co-performer Hillary Fillier with their show "The Morning After with Pam and Paula."

Over the weekend, Manitoba Chamber Orchestra’s Fiddlers on the Loose popped up in the Millenium Library downtown. Throughout the week, they will continue to appear among the stacks in various areas of the city as part of their summer outreach programming.

The Singing Cello: Renowned Cellist Bion Tsang releases latest CD called “Cantabile”
Last month The Universal Music Group released the latest CD by American cello virtuoso Bion Tsang. Titled “Cantabile” this latest CD features two of the most important works for the cello and orchestra, Schumann’s A Minor Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations. Joining Tsang on the recording is the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, which is led by conductor and Violinist Scott Yoo.
