Tracy Whitby, Executive Director of Agape House, recently joined the morning show to talk about one of the most adorable events of the year: Teddy Bear Fun Day, happening today, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at E.A. Friesen Park — that’s the one right beside the Jake Epp Library. 

Country star Jess Moskaluke is ready to bring the heat to southern Manitoba this weekend, and fans should expect more than just great music—they’re in for a high-energy experience packed with heart, humour, and maybe a few surprises. 

Moskaluke joined the Country 107 Morning Show served up by A&W Steinbach ahead of her Saturday night performance at the Niverville Fair. She hits the main stage at 9:30 p.m., and if you think touring is all glitz and glam, she is here to set the record straight.

It’s a big question that got a lot of people talking: should the voting age in Canada be lowered from 18 to 16? 

The conversation sparked after a national proposal suggested giving teenagers the right to vote, potentially adding around two million new voters to the mix. Supporters say teens are more politically aware than ever, while critics argue that 16 is just too young to take on that kind of responsibility. 

It’s another paws-itively adorable win for Pet of the Day on Country 107!

A sweet question steals the show 

As part of the fun, listeners were asked: “If you could ask your pet one question, what would it be?” 

Rachelle gave a heartwarming response: “Do I make you as happy as you make me?” Awww. Sweet and sappy. 

With the snow gone and the grass slowly turning green, the thought of spring cleaning fills some people with joy... and others with dread. 

We asked Country 107 listeners: What spring cleaning chore do you hate the most? Turns out, for many of you, the answer is all of it. 

"Everything!! Bah..hum bug. Lol" wrote Joyce Giesbrecht, summing up what a lot of you seem to feel. Raymond Heidinger simply said, "All of it," while Wanda Woelke agreed, adding, "Yep, all of them."
