For the third time this season, a member of the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings has been named the SJHL's MVP of the Week.

After a seven-goal performance over three games, forward Cade Meiklejohn received the honours. The Leduc, Alberta native started off the week with a two-goal performance against the Humboldt Broncos last Tuesday. He followed it up with a hat trick against the Notre Dame Hounds on Friday and then potted two more goals in a big 8-5 win over the Estevan Bruins on Saturday. He also added an assist to his totals.

Meiklejohn has now picked up nine goals and three assists in 14 games so far this season. The first-year Red Wings is third on the team for goals scored, behind Jerome Maharaj and Max Monette who are, coincidentally, the other two Red Wings to receive the MVP honours this season.
