Police in Winnipeg are asking the public to keep an eye open around two churches for a woman who has not been seen in a week.
The Winnipeg Police Service says that Hao “Helen” Luo was last seen in the evening of Tuesday, November 21 in the area of Des Meurons Street and Pilgrim Avenue.
She is described as 5’3” in height, with average build, black shoulder-length hair, and brown eyes with glasses. Luo was last seen wearing a Canadian Weather Gear yellow winter parka, beige sweater, dark jeans, black shoes and a black toque with a pom pom.
Police are providing additional information to the public in an attempt to locate Luo.
On Tuesday, November 28, police sent out a new photo of the woman wearing the same Canadian Weather Gear yellow winter parka she was believed to wearing at the time of her disappearance.
In addition to the area where she was last seen (Des Meurons Street and Pilgrim Avenue), police are also asking the public to be especially mindful of two additional areas: the vicinity and surrounding areas of Springs Church at 595 Lagimodiere Blvd, and Whyte Ridge Baptist Church in the Fort Whyte/Whyte Ridge area of Winnipeg.
Police are concerned for LUO’s well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.
