It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Josephine Calvert announces her passing in Regina, Saskatchewan on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Wayne, and family. 

Norma’s life was one lived to the fullest, filled with the love and joy of her life, Wayne. Norma faithfully served her God, family, and community, with a passion as she honoured Jesus and strongly stood for Him in her life. Her legacy is as far reaching as her adventurous spirit took her and her husband, as they traversed the globe. She was a gifted Bible Teacher and found her purpose sharing her love for the Word of God with others. Norma followed God’s plan for her life while planting churches, traveling, supporting orphanages in Mexico, and missionary work in Kenya. She took great delight in praying for and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Calvert; daughter Anna Shura of Mortlach SK; son Ian Calvert (Amelia) of Kitimat BC; daughter Naomi Calvert of Blackfalds AB; daughter Joyce Calvert of Kenya; and daughter Elizabeth Calvert of Kingston ON; grandchildren, Megan Calvert, Matthew and Clint Robertson of Hythe AB; Kyle (Aimee) of Campbell River BC; Forrest (Ashton) Shura of Kelowna BC; Beaudan, Lynden and Wyatt Calvert of Kitimat B.C; and Sophie Calvert-Kuchelyma Blackfalds AB; great-grandchildren, Bryson Calvert; Benjamin, Gabriel, and George Robertson; Olive, Theo and Sunday Shura. 

She is also survived by her adoring sisters Roseann Bohnke of Chilliwack BC; Beulah Kotzer of Hythe AB; Connie Harmon of Grande Prairie AB; Laurene Harmon of Macklin SK; Dora (Danny) Shasko of Mortlach SK.

Norma was predeceased by her father Young Harmon; mother Gladys Harmon; daughter Wanda Calvert (Robertson); niece Tracy Bates and nephew Bobby Bohnke.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 11th, 2023, at 11:00am at the Coteau Hills Bible Church (201 Daman St) in Mortlach, Saskatchewan.

Thank you, to all who have shown love and care for Norma. We appreciate your kind messages, support, and prayers. A special thank-you to the Doctors and Nursing staff at the Regina General Hospital, your compassion was a great comfort during this difficult time.
