Joyce Emma Meyer
December 26, 1952 – December 11, 2023
Joyce was born on December 26, 1952 to Joe and Ann (nee Toth) Moskwa in Saskatoon.
She received all of her education in Saskatoon. Following Joyce enter Hair Dressing Collage and obtained her certification as a Hair Stylist.
She moved to Bruno where she met Rudolph Meyer and following a short courtship they were wed on June 1, 1974 in Bruno. They began their life together in Bruno and were blessed with two children Keith and Trina.
Joyce continued with her career as a hair stylist and worked for many years in Bruno.
Joyce and Rudy also looked after the cemetery at Bruno for 15 years, together they kept it beautifully manicured and pristine.
She enjoyed visiting and playing cards with her friends. Setting puzzles was another past time that Joyce thoroughly enjoyed.
Her family will always remember the delicious Ukrainian dishes that she would create and share with them, beetniks, perogies and cabbage rolls just to name a few.
Joyce thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and spent hours cutting grass and puttering in her flower and vegetable gardens. Her pink petunias beautified their yard, yearly. While outdoors the beauty and business of hummingbirds and purple martins always brought her much enjoyment.
Joyce’s faithful companion Putter” would be always seen by her side.
Rudy passed away on April 4, 2022, which was a very hard time for Joyce. She then moved into a home in Chris and Trina’s yard to be close to Trina and her family.
Joyce will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two children, and four grandchildren:

Trina (Chris) Moellenbeck of St. Gregor and family:
Kyle (Melissa) Moellenbeck and children Oakley, River and Remington of St. Gregor,
Riley (Sonny) Malone of Assiniboia,
Cara (Kylan) Vidak of St. Gregor and
Kayla Moellenbeck (Chad Bauer) and Beckett of St. Gregor;
Brother Stanley and sister Olga.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Joe and Ann Moskwa; husband Rudy Meyer; twin brother John.
As Per Joyce’s wishes there will not be a funeral service. Interment will follow at a later date.
