The Western Development Museum (WDM) in Saskatchewan has launched a new Community Membership for non-profit organizations.

The memberships cost $170 and are valid for 12 months, providing unlimited admissions (excluding special events) for those organizations.

“The Community Memberships is a new way for non-profits to now engage with the WDM. With this new membership, it allows up to 12 individuals of those non-profit organizations, including their chaperones, to have access to the museum – all four locations – at their convenience,” says Ajibike Ogele, fundraising specialist with the WDM.

The aim of the program is to increase financial accessibility to Saskatchewan’s heritage for a wide range of groups, including group homes, assisted living facilities, and newcomer organizations. "We want to make sure we are reaching diverse groups. We are also strengthening and reinforcing our message, our vision, and mission that says that the museum is a place where everyone belongs and history matters.”
