The Winkler Chamber of Commerce is settling into its new location. The Chamber moved out of its former space at the Civic Centre at the end of 2023 to allow for the City of Winkler to renovate and expand its offices, as they have been bursting at the seams.

At the beginning of January, the Chamber moved into the Gilmour Braul Hiebert Law Office across from city hall. "It's a great place for us, we wanted to remain on Main Street and stay close to the City," said Chamber Executive Director Tanya Chateauneuf.

Chateauneuf says it's their goal to be out in the community as much as possible connecting with their members, and this space gives them the perfect location to do that.

"We are very lucky to have been invited to be part of this office. The staff here have been incredible and so welcoming, and it allows us to be near city staff as well, so we can continue having those strong relationships there. We have two offices here in the building, and the signage outside will direct you where to go to."

Although their physical address has changed, Chateauneuf adds their mailing address has stayed the same.
