Collision on Highway 39 near Halbrite

Discover Weyburn has received reports of a vehicle collision on Highway 39 between Halbrite and Ralph. As of 9:17 a.m. the Highway Hotline is reporting that both lanes are currently closed and traffic is at a standstill, with police on site. 

One local driver was able to share that an ambulance and fire truck are also on the scene and said that civilians were assisting emergency personnel in the thick fog. 

There is currently no word on the number or type of vehicles involved in the collision, or the severity of the incident.

The Highway Hotline is no longer reporting blocked traffic on Highway 39 between Ralph and Halbrite.
