The Country 88 Morning Show Host, Nicole Klassen, made the drive to Miami School for I Love to Read Month with Friesen's in Altona.
The grade 2 students were excited about reading and were excellent listeners. Nicole read The Pigeon will ride the roller coaster written and illustrated by Mo Willems and We Share Everything by Robert Munsch, illustrated by Michael Martchenko.
Holly Thorne from Friesen's in Altona read Fishing with Grandma written by Inuk author Susan Avingaq with Maren Vsetula and illustrated by Charlene Chua, and is published by Inhabit Media.. After she read, each student received a copy of that very book.
