The Portage Terriers are making the trip to The Pas today to take on the OCN Blizzard. The Terriers have won 2 of the 3 contests so far this season, and look for a third win tonight.

Both teams are locked into playoff spots, with playoff action under a month away.

So far this season, Portage sits in the third playoff spot in the MGEU East Division, currently 9 points back of Winkler and 15 points behind Steinbach. OCN sits second in the MGEU West Division, separated by 6 points from the Virden Oil Capitals in first place.

Portage has won 3 of their last 5 games, including coming off their first time being shut out this season, a 2-0 loss to Dauphin. The Blizzard haven't lost in their last 5 and have 3 shutouts of their own in that span.

Parker Scherr shared what he feels the team needs to do to come back from the tough loss in their last game.

"Although there were lots of learning points in that game to take away and improve on, there's also a part of it where forget that it ever happened. We forget the loss, we come in with the same swagger and attitude of being a good team in this league, and we just carry that into the next game and, hopefully, the results will come."

Puck drop at Roy H. Johnston Arena is set for 7 p.m. Cody Buhler will have the action on CFRY.
