It will be an opportunity to revisit some old favourites and develop new connections at the annual Spring Into Watson event this Saturday, June 1.
There will be a wide range of entertainment that will appeal to citizens of all ages.
Chair of the Watson and District Chamber of Commerce, Roxanne Bagnall feels the day ignites spirit that gives everyone a chance to meet with familiar faces.
“It will be a community event with a lot of excitement in town.”
Following a hearty pancake breakfast hosted by the Watson and District Museum at 7:00 am, the car show will take centre stage on Main Street beginning at 10:00 am. Motorist enthusiasts will be able to stroll in the past with some classic cars and view some of the most prized collectibles in the region.
Lunch will present a chance to network with the Trade Show at 11:00 at the Watson Arena. Local businesses will showcase their services throughout the afternoon.
Bagnall is excited about the variety of vendors that will be setting up shop.
Residents will also have the chance to find new treasures with garage sales popping up across the town throughout the day.
There’s always a distinct buzz in Watson during the first weekend of June according to Bagnall as the town lends a hand to each other while enjoying a good time.
If you’re interested in helping, you can join a strong group of volunteers that ensure that Spring Into Watson remains a success.
