Lundar is eager to bring back its 70th annual fair to the community. There are many reoccurring shows and classes, as well as some new events as we approach this year’s fair.
President of the Lunder Ag Society, Tara Brandson, says she is most excited to welcome the Manitoba Shorthorn Summer Show, which will be followed by the festive fun that comes with face painting, the petting zoo, beer gardens, and so much more.
Project Patio will be at this year’s Lundar Ag Fair. We will also have a vehicle in the parade taking place at 11:00 on Saturday, so make sure to give us a wave.
We look forward to seeing many new faces as well as collecting names and interviews at Lundar’s best tradition. Brandson notes her favourite thing this year is sure to be the Chore Competition.
“We are very thrilled to bring a Chore Competition to the fair this year, it has been a few years since we've had this showcase at the fair. We are excited to bring that back to have the teams at the fair.”
She continues that there will be something for everyone at this event, as well as it is a great way to bring together the community and surrounding areas. They are sure to have many events underway, which of course would not be possible if not for their dedicated volunteers.
Come down to the Lundar fair this Saturday to soak up the sun and visit our Project Patio to put your name in the draw for a chance to win a Patio Set, along with many other prizes we are looking to give out over the summer. Check out some pictures from last year's fair.
